Exploring the New Additions at Hersheypark: Culinary Delights and Fresh Thrills

Every year for 20 years, my family have made the trek to Hershey Park (and just last year respectfully). And, Hersheypark has always been a sweet destination for fun and excitement, but its latest expansions take the experience to a whole new level. From thrilling rides to mouth-watering new eateries, there's more to love than ever before. Let’s dive into the new builds and the delectable dining options that are making waves at Hersheypark.

Hershey’s Chocolatetown is the brand-new entrance to the park, blending seamlessly with the park’s candy-themed charm while offering modern amenities and attractions. This area includes the iconic Kisses Fountain, a fantastic spot for photos, and the historic Carrousel, relocated to its new home in Chocolatetown, where guests can enjoy a nostalgic ride in style.

One of the highlights of the new Hershey’s Chocolatetown is The Chocolatier Restaurant, Bar + Patio. This full-service restaurant offers a unique dining experience with a menu inspired by Hershey’s candy. From Cocoa-dusted Beef Short Ribs to Reese’s Peanut Butter Crunch Burger, every dish here has a sweet twist. The restaurant also features a rooftop patio with stunning views of the park.

Next door to The Chocolatier is Milton’s Ice Cream; Named after Milton S. Hershey, this ice cream parlor is a delightful addition for dessert lovers. Offering a wide variety of ice cream flavors, sundaes, and milkshakes, it’s the perfect spot to cool down on a hot day. Don’t miss the chance to create your own sundae with toppings like chocolate-covered pretzels and cookie dough.

Located near the entrance of Hershey’s Chocolatetown, The Patio offers a relaxed outdoor dining experience. Featuring live music and an extensive menu that includes wood-fired pizzas, burgers, and shareable appetizers, it’s a great place to unwind and enjoy the lively atmosphere.

The new expansions at Hersheypark, including Hershey’s Chocolatetown and its delightful array of dining options, have truly enhanced the park’s charm and appeal. Whether you’re there for the high-speed thrills of Candymonium or the decadent delights of The Chocolatier, Hersheypark continues to be a premier destination for fun, adventure, and of course, plenty of chocolate.

So, the next time you find yourself in Hershey, PA, be sure to explore all the new offerings. Your taste buds and your thrill-seeking heart will thank you!
