Adventure: Food Finds Near Holmdel and Beyond

Nestled in the Garden State’s lush greenery, Holmdel and Red Bank may be known for their quaint charm and vibrant communities, but let's get real: the food is what really steals the show. Since moving to the area; and transplanting for the famous or infamous foodie area of Montclair, New Jersey.I am more than happy to say that South Jersey is no slouch when it comes to food finds.

One in particular, if you like Toast (which also has a location in Red Bank) Turning Point is the answer to the age-old question: “Where can I get breakfast that feels like a warm hug?” Whether you're diving into their fluffy pancakes or savoring their eggs benedict, every bite is like a mini vacation. And let's not forget the coffee – it's so good it could probably negotiate world peace.

But, when it comes to the main courses, Ember and Eagle truly shines. The braised short rib, slow-cooked to perfection, melts in your mouth and is served with a rich, velvety jus. The pan-seared scallops, paired with a citrus beurre blanc and seasonal vegetables, are a testament to the restaurant’s commitment to quality and flavor.
